We’re ecstatic to announce Ryan Kirkpatrick has joined our growth team! Ryan joins Pavilion with a background in education and customer onboarding. He previously helped build the Onboarding Team at Superhuman and was also instrumental in developing their initial business to business motion. He loves watching hockey, playing tennis, cycling and spinning vinyl records.

Why Pavilion?

My first job out of college was with a government marketplace that helped agencies post solicitations and encouraged suppliers to bid on those solicitations. After hearing Mari speak at Founders You Should Know, I was incredibly excited by the immense value Pavilion provides for both government buyers and suppliers.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my wife and our lovely cat, Dipsea. I’m a huge San Jose Sharks and San Francisco 49ers fan - if they’re playing, chances are I’m watching! I also play tennis and cycle. I love the trails in Marin and you’ll find me around Rodeo Beach, Paradise Drive, and Battery Spencer often. During the pandemic, I cataloged and started building out my vinyl collection. We spend many of our Friday nights with a fancy cocktail or two while spinning a couple of records!

What’s something you’re not good at, but working on?

I’m not great at basketball. I played in middle school but recently started picking it back up! When I go to the gym, I’ll shoot 3 sets of 50 shots and try to get the shooting percentage up! Started at 18/50, current average is 23/50 - highest was 27/50!

What’s the best concert you’ve attended?

The Gaslight Anthem at the Asbury Park Convention Hall. It was sold out, and the entire crowd sang every word so loudly we could hardly hear their lead singer. Halfway through the show, Bruce Springsteen came out to perform “American Slang” with the band and the place exploded. One of my close friends caught the drummer’s drumstick he threw into the crowd when the encore ended and gave it to me. It was one of the best nights of my life!
