Ad Astra is a woman-owned language and event planning company, providing stellar services to the DC Metro area and beyond. President Lena Toolsie, and Vice President Heather D. Barclay, have over a decade of combined experience in the linguistic industry. For four years, Ms. Toolsie and Ms. Barclay managed the General Language Services Division of a premiere language agency based in Maryland. In 2010, this language company decided to change their area of focus, thus Ad Astra evolved from a department within a company, to a separate entity. While now operating under a new name, Ad Astra is still providing the same level of quality linguistic services. In Latin, Ad Astra means 'to the stars,' and Ad Astra is indeed committed to providing out of this world services for all of their clients.
