Prescription Safety Glasses

This mandatory contract for Prescription Safety Glasses for State of Wisconsin agencies, University of Wisconsin (UW) campuses, and cooperative purchasing groups (e.g. municipalities, school districts, etc.) replaces the expired contract 505ENT-M17-SFTGLASSES-01The contract has an initial term of two years with three 1-year renewals available (upon written mutual agreement) until Jan 31, 2027. First Term: February 1, 2022 – January 31, 2024 Second Term: February 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025 Third Term: February 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026 Fourth & Final Term: February 1, 2026 – January 31, 2027 Hi-Tech Optical is the supplier on this contract. Supplier ID# 0000009430The policy for supplying prescription safety glasses to employees is determined by each ordering agency based on the respective agency's interpretation of the State of Wisconsin Employee Compensation Plan Section G 4.03. In their policy each agency may set limits on what they will provide and pay for in regards to prescription safety eyewear. Please see the attached policy memo under “Documents” below. This contract contains uniform pricing to include but not limited to the following categories: lenses, frames,coatings, misc. add-ons and accessories. To adequately protect employees and to conform to OSHA and ANSI standards all safety glasses for employees ordered on this contract will come with either permanently attached or detachable side-shields. Agencies can require side shields to be permanently attached. Please see the attached User's Guide for more details on account set up and ordering.
