Why Pavilion?

In my senior year of college, I started working for non-profits promoting equity for vulnerable communities. Through this experience, I sought to work for a company with a social impact-driven mission and vision to bring more equity to the world. After talking to a few of the engineers at Pavilion, I  became very excited about the product. Procurement and its impact on aiding vulnerable communities also inspired me. I'm ecstatic to contribute to this product and extremely thankful to work with such an amazing, talented, and empathetic team.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active! I love to run and hike whenever I can. My favorite trails are Bright Angel (Grand Canyon), Steep Ravine (Mt. Tam), and Tomales Point (Point Reyes). I have also recently started rock climbing! When I am not outdoors, I love reading, puzzles, and baking.

What’s something someone who didn’t know you wouldn’t expect about you?

I love alternative rock/punk music! My favorite bands are Cage the Elephant, The Front Bottoms, SWMRS, and The Black Keys. I actually ran into SWMRS playing basketball in Oakland and had a total fan moment.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would love to meet Carrie Brownstein. She is a vocalist and guitarist for the feminist punk rock band Sleater Kinney. She was pivotal in the 90s feminist punk movement and is a prominent queer and environmental activist. I love how she used her music to express the need for change to society and her unwavering dedication to this activism. She is also incredibly unapologetic about being herself and inspires people to embrace their quirks. I also love her show Portlandia and her satirical, chaotic sense of humor.
